Nick Kolcheff (Born: November 21, 1990), is known to streaming fans worldwide as Nickmercs. While his first videos were centered around Outlast, the streaming career of Nickmercs kicked into high gear when he started playing Fortnite. In fact, his popularity reached a crescendo when he found himself labeled with a long-standing Fornite World Record.
Along with his teammates, Nickmercs earned the honor of most squad kills in a game. First, they attempted to set the record with 54 kills. Unfortunately for them, the record did not stand because they were unable to win the entire game. However, they came back with a vengeance and were able to complete 55 kills and win the game. Since that fateful day, the record has been reset by xPolitics, MannyinCali, TozSlays, and JuicyMutt. Their squad hit 59 kills.
Nick also has another record under his belt. The same month he set the squad record, he set an individual record. Nickermercs boasts the world record for most kill from a duo. His partner and him both had 23 kills a piece, bringing their total to 46.
Each year, Nick joins many professional Fortnite competitions such as Friday Fornite and Fortnite Summer Skirmish. His Twitch livestreams take place everyday and has amassed a following of over 1.1 million followers. He still has a ton of success on YouTube as well, boasting over 570,000 subscribers and topping 35 million unique views.
