Brian Awadis (Born: November 19, 1996 [age 21]) is known to the world over as FaZe Rug. As the name suggests, his niche is video games . FaZe Rug plays games and provides commentary. He then streams these events on his popular YouTube channel. The vlogger currently has over 10 million subscribers. In total, his video views hover around the 2 billion margin.

When Brian started doing YouTube videos, he would do pranks and post them. His most popular of the prank genre is called Cocaine Prank. This video currently boasts over 16 million views worldwide.

While that earned him a modest following, that wasn’t propelled FaZe Rug into the next stratosphere. His vlogging and commentary of Call of Duty is what really resonated with his fanbase.

As his notoriety grew, FaZe Rug joined the YouTube group known as “Cloutgang.” This group also includes:

Funnily enough, people in middle school called FaZe Rug “Rico.” They said he looked the character from Hannah Montana. From then on, he used to tell people that it was really him.
