Daniel Robert Middleton (Born: November 8, 1991 [Age: 27]) is best known to the internet community as DanTDM. The TDM stands for The Diamond Minecart. This British YouTube star gained traction as an internet sensation by covering popular video games such as Minecraft. After growing his following, he topped the Forbes list of Highest-Paid YouTube Stars in 2017. The magazine credited him for generating a whopping $16.5 million in just one year!

DanTDM’s YouTube career started back in 2010. He launched a page back dedicated to Pokemon while attending the University of Northampton. At that time, the name of Daniel’s channel was PokemanDanLv45.

Once 2012 hit, DanTDM’s career hit a new level. He started a gaming channel geared toward five to ten-year-olds called The Diamond Minecart. Dan starts his day at 9:00 AM to read up on Minecraft news and updates. He updates his videos to post by 8:30 pm. Over the weekend, he works on content to supplement his channel including original mini films starring characters he created himself.

On top of ruling the internet, DanTDM is also a published author. On October 6, 2016, the star put out a graphic novel by the name of Trayaurus and the Enchanted Crystal. This book is full of characters from his popular YouTube films including:

• Evil Lab Boss, Denton
• Sidekick, Finn

Upon release, the novel was #1 on the New York Times Best Seller List in the Hardcover Graphic Books throughout Japan. He held onto the spot for eleven weeks!
