Unlike other Famousss TikTok stars, like Reza Jackson or Doggface, Christine doesn’t do many lip-synchs. Much of her content is spliced-together over-the-top reactions to her daily routines. She accentuates her character by harping on her little ticks, including her love for coffee.

A lot of her videos have started to include advertisement shills. She is a huge cold brew fan. So, Spirit Halloween and DNKN sent Christine Snaps some DNKN swag, including a cold brew costume.

In addition, Christine gets paid to advertise for popular social media brands. She’s been seen hocking content for McDonald’s, like other Famousss stars Talia Scott.

Christine only works with brands she has tried or believes in. It’s important to her that she doesn’t associated with a brand that uses controversial practices or doesn’t participate in inclusion.

Christine Snaps’ Family & Early Life

Christine Juhas, better known as Christine Snaps, was born on May 12, 1995, in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. She grew up in a tight-knit, supportive family of blue-collared workers. Her mom and dad continue to support whatever Christine and her brother decide to do.

At a young age, Christine knew she wanted to be in entertainment of some sort. She was drawn to writing and decided to try her hand as a comedy writer. Upon graduating high school, Christine attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. The budding comedian would earn a Bachelor of Science in Radio/TV/Film (RTF) in 2017.

Christine Snaps’ Rise to Fame

Christine always enjoyed putting on a show for her family and friends. However, she was always just being herself. So, when she created a TikTok, Christine had no aspirations to become Famousss.

She would create content just to get her loved ones to laugh. However, Christine Snaps would blow up on February 4, 2020 when she uploaded a video of herself buying a cactus late at night.

The cactus would become known as Alloy, and would help Christine Snaps gain 1 million followers in 7 days.

As Christine told her alma-mater newspaper, The Advance-Titan,

I really did just go out and buy a cactus. Me and my friend went to Walmart one night because she wanted to go look at the clearance section that’s in the back. I saw these four little cactuses, and I was like, ‘oh I think I want that one’ for no reason. She tried to talk me out of it, and I initially put it back, but then I came back because I thought it’d be funny to have a cactus. Then that night, when I went home, I was just in my bathroom and I was like ‘okay I have this cactus, now I have to figure out what to do with it’. So, I just started recording a video, and that’s what happened. It really was by accident.”

The success caught Christine Snaps by surprise…but a welcomed one. She said the overnight success caused her to experience many bouts of happy tears. A lot of her friends called to congratulate the star and encouraged her to continue creating content.

Christine loves to dance, even though she doesn’t showcase those skills on TikTok. She admits that dancing is something just for her. It’s what she does to have fun and let out some steam when she’s alone.

Christine credits a lot of success to the foundations created during her RTF training at UW Oshkosh.

“Going through the program taught me editing, lighting, pre-production, industry information and more things that I still use on a daily basis. The comedic ideas and storytelling are up to me but a lot of the foundation of creating and turning an idea into a video has come from my degree and time spent at UWO. “Shout out to the RTF department professors and students for pushing a ‘classroom kid’ like me who was afraid to even pick up a professional camera into becoming a successful and confident content creator.”

Christine still wants to create content. However, her heart is still at creating sketch comedies and sitcoms for mainstream audiences. She hopes to use this current platform as a way to open the door to the next chapter in her career amongst the Famousss
