Edwin Castro (Born: July 21, 1991 [Age: 27]) is simply known as Castro (Castro_1021) to his millions of Twitch fans worldwide. In November 2013, a then budding video game streamer started his YouTube channel. Like a rocket, he Edwin Castro reached 100,000 subscribers in only one year of producing videos.
His success was hard for Twitch to ignore. On February 8, 2014 his official channel was launched. Castro’s popularity grew with his FIFA livestreams. Giving back to his community, the Mexican star started turning his livestreams into charity opportunities. After logging 50 hours on a Twitch livestream, Castro raised over $80,000 in donations to fight cancer.
Bit by the donation bug, Castro followed the success of his initial charity drive up with a second in December 2015. This 50 hour livestream was dedicated specifically to children battling cancer. This time, Castro raised $75,000.

Castro lives with his girlfriend named Pita. Together, they have two dogs. Their furbabies are named Yaya and Kolo. These dogs got their name from the famous Touré brothers. The Touré brothers play football for Manchester City and Ivory Coast respectively. Football has a huge influence on Castro, who has played the game since he was three.
