Ariel Rebecca Martin (Born: November 22, 2000) is a social media influencer and TikTok content creator known around the world as Baby Ariel. She was named one of Time Magazine’s most influential people on the internet. 

Baby Ariel Early Beginnings 

Baby Ariel was born as Ariel Rebecca Martin in South Florida. Her mother’s name is Sharon Kremen Martin, who hails from New Jersey. This Jersey girl fell in love with a striking man from Panama named Jose Martin. 

Together, Sharon and Jose had Ariel. Next, they welcomed Ariel’s younger brother, Jacob, into the world. The house of four all work together in creating the family business, which we’ll get to in a bit!

Baby Ariel Joins Musical.ly

Long before TikTok was the sensation sweeping the nation, Musical.ly was where it was at. Baby Ariel started her ascent into Musical.ly fame in 2015. 

At its peak, she had over 20 million followers on Musical.ly. Baby Ariel Musical.ly videos included a lot of lip-synching and dancing. People were mesmerized by her skill, which created a devoted following. 

In 2017, Forbes named Baby Ariel one of the Top Influencers on the Internet. Her stardom was happening so fast. Her family even wanted in on the action. Therefore, her brother launched his Musical.ly account under King Jacob. Not to be outdone, Sharon also launched her own account under Musical.lymom. 

While the Martin family gained some notoriety, nobody held a candle to Baby Ariel. She was on a path to fame and fortune, and didn’t mind sharing some of the wealth with her loved ones!

Baby Ariel YouTube Success

With her Musical.ly career going strong, Baby Ariel decided to switch gears and grow her YouTube following. Everybody wanted to know how to perform with the moves and charisma that Baby Ariel does. She immediately gained millions of followers as she started making Musical.ly tutorials.

Her following caught the eye of fellow YouTubers. Other stars reached out to her about creating a channel called Our Journey.

Subsequently, Baby Ariel was starting to make moves. Around the time Our Journey stopped making content, the star inked a deal with a prominent talent agency. By the end of 2016, Baby Ariel was being represented by CAA.

With Our Journey on the backburner, Baby Ariel started focusing on her own business endeavors. She launched her own sticker app at the beginning of 2017. 

Areilemoji was a highly successful app that featured 98 exclusive stickers with the star making various faces that captures many moods and moments!

Baby Ariel Teen Choice Awards

Baby Ariel was set to make history when she became nominated for the first-ever Teen Choice Award for Choice Muser in 2016. She didn’t know she was going to crush history when she won the award!

Baby Ariel faced tough competition, as she went up against:

The next year, the starlet was up for the same honors. However, she faced even stiffer competition. Some were past contenders. Yet, she was meeting some new powerhouses.

While the Teen Choice Awards has always been a successful event for Baby Ariel, she has had trouble breaking through on other awards shows.

Baby Ariel Music Career

With Musical.ly fading into TikTok and her YouTube career doing okay, Baby Ariel decided to transition into music. She released her first music video for 8 Letters at the end of 2018.

Since then, she’s released seven music videos, totaling one million views and counting collectively. Her biggest hit yet came in 2020, as she sang for the soundtrack for her movie, Zombies 2. 

Baby Ariel Movie Career

Baby Ariel was a resounding success across the internet. It was only a matter of time before the House of Mouse caught on. Disney cast her in the role of Wynter for Zombies 2. 

Pulling double duty, Baby Ariel also sang the lead song on the soundtrack of this Disney Channel Original Movie. She released The New Kid in Town on January 20, 2020. 

In November 2020, Baby Ariel announced she will be in the horror film, Oracle. This major motion picture will also feature Heather Graham and Ryan Destiny.

Baby Ariel Relationship Rumors

In the past, Baby Ariel dated Blake Gray. They started dating in 2016 but seemed to fizzle out when Ariel exploded in 2017. 

Baby Ariel posts a lot of videos containing fellow Teen Choice Award Muser of the Year nominee Jacob Sartorius. Their constant joking around and collaborating has caused many people to believe they are dating.

However, Baby Ariel denies dating Jacob Sartorius. As Baby Ariel explains, they are very close. Yet, they’re just BFFs.

In the past, Jacob Sartorius dated Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven in Netflix’s hit show, Stranger Things. 

Currently, Baby Ariel is dating Milo Murphy.
